App

What is an App?

An App is a tool that helps you work more easily and efficiently by allowing AI to follow pre-defined steps. You can use Apps within a single chat to handle tasks such as summarizing information, analyzing files, or creating documents without needing to repeat commands or manage each step manually

How to Create an App

You can create an App in two ways

Method 1: Create an App from an Existing Board You can turn a completed board into an App for personal use or to share with your team

  • Step 1: Select the board you want to convert into an App

  • Step 2: Start creating the App by clicking the dropdown menu at the top-left of the board, then select “Save as App”

  • Step 3: Set Up Your App Give your App a name, edit the short description, select a BU tag, and choose a cover image or use the system default. You will then be taken to a dedicated App editing board, which is a private space accessible only to you as the creator. Here, you can refine the description, review the settings, and prepare the App for publishing

Method 2:

  • Step 1: Select a card or a group of cards on your existing board. You can choose a single card or an entire connected flow that you want to convert into an App

  • Step 2: Start creating the App by selecting “Create Workflow” from the toolbar after making your selection

Set Up Your App

When configuring your app, you can customize each card individually

  1. Unassigned: This card will not be visible to users on the app page

  1. Workflow Input: Set this block as the app’s input. Users must enter or upload data here before running the app

  • Workflow Input Settings:

    • Description: Add a description to help users understand what information they need to provide

    • Enable “Optional”: Users can enter data or skip this field

    • Disable “Optional” (Required): Users must enter data; otherwise, the app cannot run

  1. Workflow Output: Set this card as the app’s output. This is the result that users will see after the app has finished running

App Checker

App Creation Requirements:

  1. At least one input card must be defined

  2. At least one output card must be defined

  3. All inputs must include descriptions

  4. All inputs must be properly connected

If the app does not meet the creation requirements, the system will display a warning symbol to indicate the points that do not comply with the requirements

How to Find and Use Your App

From the Home page (for editing): go to the “Apps” section of Aerogram. This area displays all of your personal Apps, where you can edit or publish them as needed

You can click Preview to explore the app before using it, or click “Use in…” to start using the app

When choosing to use an app, you have 3 ways to use it:

  • Create a new chat: Start a new conversation to use this app immediately

  • Form mode: Use the app in a form format, allowing users to fill in information according to the configured steps

  • Existing Chats: Use this app within an existing chat to continue working from the current conversation

App Permission Management

You can manage app permissions in 2 separate types according to purpose:

Purpose 1: App creation access management

When you create an app, you can decide whether other users can access it or not

  • Viewer: Can view the latest version of the app

  • Editor: Can edit the app and publish it as a new version

Purpose 2: App publishing access management You can allow others to access and use the app by clicking “Publish” and then “Copy Link” to share it, or click “Unpublish” to remove access
