# Create Your Own Personal Template

### **What is a Personal Template?**

A Personal Template is a pre-designed workflow or a set of connected cards that you create and save for future use. It serves as a blueprint, allowing you to quickly reuse effective work structures without having to rebuild them from scratch

### **How to Create Your Own Personal Template**

* You can create a template in two ways: from an existing board or from a blank board

**Method 1: Create a Template from an Existing Board**\
You can turn a completed board into a template for personal use or to share with your team

* **Step 1:** Select the board you want to convert into a template
* **Step 2:** Start creating the template by clicking the dropdown menu at the top-left of the board, then select **“Save as template”**

* **Step 3:** Set Up Your Template\
  Give your template a name, edit the short description, and choose a cover image or use the system default. You will then be taken to a dedicated template editing board, which is a private space accessible only to you as the creator. Here, you can refine the description, review the settings, and prepare the template for publishing

### **Template Permission Management**

When you create a template, you can control how other users interact with each card by setting **card permissions**. These settings determine what users can see and edit within each card

* **Show All:** Users can view everything in the card (including prompts and outputs) and can edit the content
* **Hide Prompt:** Users can run the card and view the output, but cannot see the original prompt in the card
